It was on the occasion of two disciplines of the Language Studies curriculum that this research had its beginning. At that moment, I was taking the subject Interpretation: Theory and Practice, taught by Prof. Dr. Maria Viviane Veras, and the subject Language and Meaning: Theory and Practice, in modules, being the introductory module of Discourse Analysis taught by Prof. Dr. Lauro José Siqueira Baldini. It was in this disciplinary and interest division that the publication series "Order of Discourse and Education" was born, the general title that guides this research, both echoing Foucault's texts and claiming a new word of order for our country in the possible reduction of the title "Order and Education". This series of writings, always under the same title, but with different emphases, marked by the explanatory passage after the colon, has been gaining momentum throughout my academic career. What would be presented as the final work of the disciplines, gave origin to a series of articles and to my Scientific Initiation, "Discourse Order and Education: Reason and Sexuality in the National Education Plan", developed at the Pró-reitoria de Pesquisa da Unicamp, and to this monograph.
