Social capital, according to researchers, is the set of social ties woven by an individual, visible in social networks, that can allow for many more advantages, including organizational ones. However, the tontine (mutual), a rotating savings and credit system that is a community of practice with similar characteristics to social networks, contains social capital. This is why we wondered whether the tontine could not have an impact on the organizational performance of the MSE through its social capital.
