She has also edited two books - including, Ignition: What You Can Do to Fight Global Warming and Spark a Movement (Island Press, 2007), and Ants, Galileo, and Gandhi: Designing the Future of Business through Nature, Genius, and Compassion (Routledge, 2003) - and created The ForestGirls book series, which depicts capable girls and women, from around the world, who are innovating and regenerating ecological systems. Award-winning illustrator who has worked on more than 17 children's books published in the U.S.A., Australia, and Europe. With a background in architecture, Ana combines attention to detail with playful imagery that engages young audiences. She brings to her paintings the experience of seeing the world from above while paragliding, which offers a unique vantage point on how people and nature coexist.
