This book is the documentation of the existing information need perception of farm women in the State of Tamil Nadu, India. The study was carried out in Kadambathur block of Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu State, India. This study on information need perception of farm women was carried out to ascertain the profile of farm women involved in livestock enterprises, information seeking and sharing behaviour, information need perception together with the constraints faced by them and the remedies to overcome the same. The book also encompassed possible solutions to be used to solve the constraints of farm women in the State. This book is ideally suited as text for the agriculture and veterinary students, extension agents, social scientists and policy makers.

Dr.K.Devaki, Assistant Professor in Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farm Science Centre), Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Kattupakkam, Tamil Nadu, India.
