Since its origin, UNINASSAU Caruaru is aware that, to achieve the quality standard so desired, it is necessary to work with the triad teaching-research-extension. In this sense, the Faculty has been structuring departments and centers for the promotion of their academic and social activities. UNINASSAU Caruaru has a policy of social responsibility to serve its academic community, with quality, ethics, respect and dignity, extending this service to the social communities around it, the capital, and the state as a whole, since it makes available to them, the benefits of intellectual and scientific production of its teachers and students.It is hoped that this work will be useful to all those interested in these themes, whether academically or professionally.This work is the result of projects developed by students of the Pharmacy course, under the guidance of teachers of the University Center Mauricio de Nassau - Caruaru.

Graduating in Pharmacy from the Vale do Ipojuca University Centre. Postgraduate student in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Prescription at Faculdade Integrada de Patos (FIP). Member of the Phytotherapy Research Group (GPFITO) at Unifavip. Has experience in toxicology, microbiology, pharmacology, phytotherapy, botany and biotechnology.
