This book presents up-to-date information on the general principles of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine in the context of endocrinology.
The content is divided into six parts. Section I examines general aspects of radiopharmaceuticals, scintigraphy, single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), positron emission tomography (PET), radionuclide therapies and radioguided surgery. About the author
George Coura-Filho graduated in Medicine (MD) from the University of São Paulo, and completed a residency in Nuclear Medicine and a Doctorate in Radiology (PhD) at the same university. He is the president of the Brazilian Society for Nuclear Medicine 2021-2022, medical coordinator of DIMEN-São Paulo Nuclear Medicine and a medical assistant at the Nuclear Medicine Service at the São Paulo State Cancer Institute and the Radiology Institute of the University of São Paulo Medical School's Clinics Hospital.
