This adult education math book is designed to help learners prepare for CASAS, TABE 11 & 12, HiSET, and GED exams. The book utilizes Singapore math reasoning methods and follows specific standards to help adult education programs and their learners understand core math concepts that meet the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) expectations.

The practice exercises include 2-step and 3-step-problems that require mathematical thinking and reasoning. They take various formats such as multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blanks, matching, ordering, and drawing or plotting. Answer keys are given at the end of each section.
At the end of each chapter, learners are given 10 complex or multi-step word problems that summarize the sections' content. The problems require students to understand all the content to solve them.
