The system of information and communication technology is the "core" of the information society. It is considered as a necessary and natural element in the structure of human civilization. The emergence of this system is due to the laws of development of the noosphere as a special planetary shell. The paper shows the importance of the system of infocommunication technologies as a paradigmatic factor in the development of modern civilization. Their importance in the formation of the global economic system, in the transformation of lifestyles of modern society, in changing the biopsychological and social properties of man. The problems of changes in the global human environment under the influence of information and communication technologies and the formation of a new infocommunicative ecopresence are considered.
