Visualising the Transient Self: An Examination of the Intangible in Creative Work, investiga la noción del yo como un estado ambiguo y transitorio, a través de una praxis de investigación teórica y creativa. Se utilizan términos clave del filósofo Slavoj Zizek para establecer la perspectiva teórica de la investigación, que luego se aplican a una serie de obras creativas de los artistas visuales Bill Viola, Anna Gaskell y Gabriella Bisetto. El trabajo creativo anterior y actual del investigador se analiza críticamente a través de la misma lente. El objetivo de la investigación es crear instalaciones basadas en video que intentan hacer tangible, la noción efímera de sí mismo.
