About the author

Katrina McKelvey is an author, former primary school teacher, and mother of two. She is passionate about inspiring a love of all things literary in kids of all ages. She is a president of the Children's Book Council of Australia.Kirrili Lonergan is an accomplished illustrator with a growing following. At a young age she painted everything she could get her hands on, being deeply inspired by her mother, a self taught artist. Her passions in life are to care, draw and please. She is currently the Vice President of the CBCA (Children's Book Council of Australia) Newcastle Sub-branch.
