About the author










Dr. Swetalina Pradhan completed her graduation from Sambalpur University, Odisha with four gold medals and as best Graduate. She finished her Post graduation in Dermatology from Veer Surendra Sai medical College, Burla in 2015, She received many awards from paper presentations and Scholarship during and after her post- graduation to attend and present at National and International conferences. Due to interest in research and academics she picked teaching as career and is currently working as Assistant Professor in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna. She has published 60 papers in various National and International Journals and works as reviewer in many International and National Journals. She is also working as Assistant Editor in Indian Journal of Paediatric Dermatology. She has contributed various chapters in various books. Her areas of interest are Clinical Dermatology, Infectious Diseases, Paediatric Dermatology, and collagen vascular disease.

Dr. Piyush Kumar completed his graduation from University of Calcutta with a gold medal. He finished his post-graduation in Dermatology from Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata in 2011 and was judged the best outgoing university medical graduate in Dermatology. He received many scholarships during and after his post-graduation to attend and present at national and international conferences. He has published more than 100 papers in indexed national and international journals and works as a reviewer for various national and international specialty journals. He has contributed many chapters in various books and has co-edited "Nail Disorders: A Comprehensive Approach" and "Clinical Cases in Disorders of Melanocytes". His areas of interest are clinical dermatology, dermatopathology, nail disorders and genital dermatoses.
