Ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer death in women worldwide and its prognosis remains poor. The study of the QOL through specific and validated tools such as the FACT-O appears today as an essential element in the global management of patients with ovarian cancer in order to facilitate their adaptation and improve their QOL.This work is about a prospective descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study conducted between April 2018 and December 2018 on the QOL of 50 women with ovarian cancer followed at the medical oncology department of Monastir University Hospital in Tunisia.Concerning sexuality, 64% of patients in our series were satisfied with the quality of their sexual lives and the QOL was better in women who are sexually active. The average FACT-O score representing the global QOL was 97.76 (64.31% of the theoretical maximum FACT-O), hence the patients had a satisfactory global QOL.
