Electrical substations and cellular communication towers are growing in number to meet the need of people. The present study aimed to investigate the influence of these two sites on the human health by evaluating thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), triiodothyronine (T3), thyroxine (T4), malondialdehyde (MDA), glutathione (GSH), total oxidant status (TOS), total antioxidant capacity (TAC), uric acid, lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), urea, creatinine, triglycerides (TGs), total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL), and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) in men under occupational exposure to the environment of electrical substations and cellular communication towers.
