This work aims to understand the factors that may explain social responsibility in financial inclusion in Benin's decentralized financial systems (DFS). Thus, we conducted a comprehensive qualitative study based on individual semi-structured interviews with the managers of 10 SFDs, whose data were presented and processed using thematic content analysis. Our results showed that SFD managers are aware of CSR, are conscious of its existence and understand a symmetrical link between CSR and financial inclusion, and that this link lies in the coordination of behaviors, as well as in the convergence of the values of the institution's various stakeholders.
