FALCIFORM EXPERIENCES OF WOMEN'S EXISTENCE - FROM JOÃO PESSOA, PARAÍBA

This course completion paper is one of the outcomes of the scientific initiation project entitled "Biomedicine, genetic disease and citizenship: an anthropological study on sickle cell disease, health practices and struggles for health care/rights in the state of Paraíba, Brazil". Aiming to study and understand the life experiences of women with Sickle Cell Disease (SD) in João Pessoa, Paraíba. That is, starting from the assumption that their experiences of life and illness go beyond reproductive and maternity-related issues.
