Innovation habitats are innovative enterprises formed by the concentration of a set of organizations, presenting, as a competitive advantage, the physical proximity to other companies and institutions, in particular universities and research centers, thus expanding the possibilities of establishing synergies. One can observe the existence of several nomenclatures of habitats, ranging from Smart Cities and Technology Parks, to pre-incubators. These environments are spaces for collective learning, exchange of knowledge and productive practices, of interaction between the various innovation agents. Currently, they are being considered as the new arrangements for entrepreneurs and, therefore, in several countries, have presented significant results in the international sphere, being considered by government agencies as positive instruments of public policies for regional development. The objective of this book, therefore, is to stimulate the production of knowledge about these environments to contribute to academic activities and actions in public and private organizations, which support the integration of agents of the triple helix.
