Ensayos sobre estudios culturales sami

La presente colección de ensayos abarca tres temas diferentes de la cultura sami. Mi interés se ha mantenido en esta línea de investigación desde mi primera infancia, cuando supe que mi familia tenía raíces sami. Los estudios sobre los sami autóctonos se han desarrollado en consonancia con las investigaciones realizadas en la Universidad de Tromsoe (Noruega), en el Máster de Estudios Indígenas, y los trabajos del Centro de Estudios Culturales Británicos, en la Universidad de Bucarest (Rumanía) para comprobar la realidad.

About the author

The author, Elena-Mirona Ciocirlie, was born in Romania on February 26th, 1976. Both parents, mother and father had Sami and Norwegian roots. We visited Norway with the grandparents in the 1980s and following these visits my mother's parents gave up their Sami right to fishing and reindeer herding.
