Several factors can contribute to the mobility and behavior of herbicides in the soil, among them are rainfall, the physical-chemical characteristics of the active ingredient and the soil, as well as the presence of straw in the cultivation system. Indaziflam is an active ingredient registered and commercialized in Brazil for several crops with pre-emergence weed application. The objective of this study was to evaluate sorption and desorption of indaziflam in soil and sugarcane straw, as well as its leaching in different rainfall and amounts of straw in the soil.
