In this research we intend to study some of the Andean myths and legends, with the purpose of including some of its elements and characters within the serial script Cafetería de leyendas, the theoretical framework on which we will theorize our proposals includes the concepts of the adaptation of myths and legends in the audiovisual media, analyzing the films made with Andean mythology, these concepts are contributed by Laura Collin, Patricia Restom and Luis Reino. Our research question is: What is the capacity of a serial to reconstruct, redesign and adapt myths and legends, coming from the Andean oral transmission and that has an impact on the current society? Based on the above, our research will be a bibliographic review, film analysis, and application of the research to the script of the proposed serial.
