About the author










Sir Michael Edwards is a celebrated poet and literary scholar. He is an Honorary Fellow of Christ's College, Cambridge; Emeritus Professor at the Collège de France; and the first British person elected to the prestigious Académie française. He is the author of numerous scholarly books on literature, art and theology, as well as several collections of poetry.
