GEORGIY I. MIRSKY is a graduate of Moscow's Institute of Oriental Studies and has taught at the Institute of International Relations in Moscow, American University in Washington, D.C., and the London School of Economics and Political Science./e At this writing, he is a senior research fellow at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations in Moscow and a visiting scholar at the Center for International Studies at Princeton University.
