About the author

Carlo DeVito is one of the most experienced wine, beers, and spirits editors in the world whose list of authors has included The Wine Spectator, The New York Times, Michael Jackson, Kevin Zraly, Clay Risen, Matt Kramer, Oz Clarke, Tom Stevenson, Howard G. His books and authors over the years have won James Beard, Gourmand, and IAACP awards. He has traveled to wine regions in California, Canada, up and down the east coast, France, Spain, and Chile. He is the author of Jiggers and Drams: A Whiskey Journal, and is the publisher of East Coast Wineries website which covers wines, beer, whisky, wine, and ciders from Maine to Virginia.
