Determination of exact structure of a crystal is very difficult due to the size of the crystal. The physical properties of solid crystals were studied by several researchers in both experimental and theoretical aspects. Physical properties of solid crystals are very difficult and expensive to find because of their size and the existence of their phase transitions at high temperatures. Using group theoretical methods we have obtained the physical properties of solid crystals at different phase transition temperatures. Like crystals, the phase transition of quasi crystals also exists at very high temperature. Hence a brief account of group theoretical methods of studying the effect of symmetry on some ferrotoroidial properties of quasi crystals with 5-fold, 8-fold, 10-fold and 12-fold symmetries and the number of independent constants required to describe the ferrotoroidial properties of quasi crystals are obtained and are tabulated.
