This book is the result of the research presented by students of the third semester of the Bachelor's Degree in Administration of the Escuela Superior de Tlahuelilpan belonging to the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, whose objective is to gather the students' research and analyze the challenges and opportunities brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.The pandemic caused several obstacles that SMEs had to face in order to adapt to the new normalities, the pandemic not only affected small and medium enterprises, but also affected the educational field, schools had to find ways to adapt to the new normality in order to continue teaching classes to all young students.Topics related to different problems are presented, the economic impact it had, the unemployment that existed, the new normalities, the innovations that arose and the importance of having a strong leadership in times of pandemic, focusing on some municipalities in the state of Hidalgo.
