Dr. Debasish Kar
Debasish Kar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore. He pursued his MSc in Biotechnology from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India followed by MTech in Biotechnology from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, India. Later, he completed his PhD in Biotechnology from IIT Kharagpur, India. Dr. Kar has several publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Kar has also published several books for competitive entrance examinations, viz. CSIR-NET, GATE, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF in the domain of life sciences and biotechnology. 
Dr. Sagartirtha Sarkar
Sagartirtha Sarkar is a Professor in the Genetics and Molecular Cardiology laboratory, Department of Zoology, Calcutta University, India. He completed his PhD from the University of Calcutta, India. He has worked at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio, USA as post-doctoral fellow. Dr. Sarkar has also served as visiting scientist in the Department of Medicine, University of California, San Diego, CA, USA. He has more than 40 publications in peer reviewed journals. He has supervised 18 doctoral and 5 M.Phil students
