In this book entitled "Independence of the Elections Management Body (EMB) in Africa: Scope and Limits", Professor KUKATULA Onésime describes and demonstrates perfectly the scope of the independence vested in an EMB in Africa but also its real limits. As for the real scope or extent of the EMB's independence in Africa, the author rightly presents it as a tool for generating confidence in the electoral process, the essential dimension in any representative democracy.
