Dani proti¿u svaki dan isto na najjužnijem delu zemljine kugle, na Antarktiku. Kolonija pingvina živi mirnim i lagodnim životom i sve bi bilo u najboljem redu samo da se u njihove de¿ije glave nisu uvukli ti ¿udni snovi o dalekom Galapagosu.
Pingvin Bobbi obožava da se kliže, sanka i peca ali najviše od svega obožava da takmi¿i do najbliže sante leda. Ipak njegov najve¿i san je da jednoga dana ode do dalekog tropskog ostrva po imenu Galapagos.
Svaki dan u isto vreme posmatra sa drugarima sa svoje omiljene sante leda kontejnerske brodove koji plove polako na sever. Iako sve izgleda nedostižno, taj san ¿e postati stvarnost kada upozna plave kitove koji plivaju gore ka Aljasci. ¿im je ¿uo da prolaze pored samog Galapagosa Bobbi se tog istog trenutka odlüi da krene sa njima.
Za razliku od njega, njegovi drugari Tulok, Nuka i Jacco nisu toliko hrabri pa Bobbi odlazi sam. Pre no što su stigli bilo šta da kažu on je ve¿ bio usred modrog okeana i plovio na sever.
Nakon nekoliko nedelja pingvin konäno stiže na mesto o kojem je ¿itav svoj život sanjao. Sve se ¿ini još mnogo lepšim nego što je to mogao zamisliti.
Ali raj na zemlji za njega ¿e ubrzo postati mesto tuge i usamljenosti. Sve bi bilo tako lepo samo da su njegovi najmiliji sa njim.
