Informationen zum Autor Kerstin Specht was born in Germany in 1956 and has written many plays. Her play 'Marieluise' won the 2002 National Award for Drama from Baden-Wurttemberg, and is published by Oberon in a translation by Rachael McGill. Rachael McGill has written for stage and television, including translations from French and German for the National Theatre and Channel Four. Her translation of 'Marieluise' by Kerstin Specht was awarded the Gate Theatre Translation Award 2004.
