Lars Nilsson was a retired surgeon and was one of the experts going through all Polanski¿s files after he had been formally accused. Nilsson wrote: "I can only conclude that Polanski was a an honourable man and an excellent surgeon who meticulously kept track of all his patients records. I feel sorry and ashamed for everyone who has been involved in this witch-hunt, especially for Polanski."
