After noticing the difficulty that people in my community, pupils, students and even professors, have in expressing the depths of their thoughts clearly and precisely through speech, we found it imperative to make this rhetorical treatise available to the common man, which succinctly summarizes the basic notions of public speaking. This document is intended first of all for all the open minds who aspire to become speakers, then for all those who have in them the natural talent of speech and who wish to improve it and finally for all the teachers who have for speech the tool of transmission of the lessons to be taught. Moreover, we live in an era where manipulation, influence and propaganda, especially political, have reached gargantuan proportions, an era where those who are not in touch with the rules and workings of public speaking are the main victims of these manipulations on a daily basis. This treatise of rhetoric also provides elements of language to counterbalance these techniques of manipulation.
