About the author

Ashleigh Pipes holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Georgetown University. She has taught Linguistics and Communication courses domestically and abroad and currently teaches at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). She has presented her research on creativity and other individual differences in second language acquisition at conferences of the International Association of Applied Linguistics (AILA), the American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL), and the European Second Language Association (EuroSLA). She is also certified by the Torrance Center for Creativity and Talent Development as a Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking scorer.
