Author Deb Vanasse is a prolific writer of children's fiction and adult fiction and nonfiction who lived in Alaska for 36 years (now lives in Oregon); her most recent release is the nonfiction book Roar of the Sea: Treachery, Obsession, and Alaska's Most Valuable Wildlife and her bestselling children's books are Totem Tale (2006, sold over 10k) and Under Alaska's Midnight Sun (2005, sold over 6k).
Illustrator Sara Lynn Cramb lives in Fairbanks, AK and illustrates and designs education children's books and media.

About the author
Deb Vanasse is an author of children's books and adult
books, as well as a reporter, historian, and the co-founder of the Alaska
statewide writing center 49 Writers. She has been published in Alaska
Magazine and has given lectures for the National Park Service and
several museums among other programs. For several years, Deb lived in the
Alaskan bush, but today she finds her home in Warrenton, Oregon.
