The whole educational system across the world has closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic jeopardizing the academic calendars. Most educational institutes have migrated to online learning platforms to possess academic activities going. This study was conducted to evaluate students' perceptions and preferences toward online learning through an online survey of 180 students at the higher secondary levels. This study's portrayal of students' perception of online learning with a user satisfaction level estimation was explored in-depth during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Margram High school, Birbhum district, West Bengal, India. The results indicated that the majority of the respondents (88%) are ready to opt for online classes to manage the curriculum during this pandemic. The students opined that the flexibility and convenience of online classes make it an attractive option, whereas internet connectivity issues in rural areas make it a challenge for students to make use of online learning initiatives.
