The intention of the book is to give overall knowledge and methods of using ground penetrating radar technique for structural engineering aspects. Structural Health Monitoring is a rapidly developing field in Civil and Structural Engineering particularly after the extreme devastating events occurred in the recent past including Asian tsunami and earthquakes. Non-destructive testing methods have found to be of immense importance in the field of monitoring the structural integrity where Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is playing a major role. GPR is being used as an effective and efficient non-destructive testing method for structural health monitoring since the recent past in both developed and developing countries. This book will be useful for engineers and researchers who are interested in data acquisition, data analysis and data interpretation for structural health monitoring using GPR technology with different environmental conditions.
