This book is one of The Motorcyclist's Library series published in the USA by Floyd Clymer by arrangement with the original publisher, Pitman Ltd. of London, England. It includes complete technical data, service and maintenance information and detailed instructions for the repair and overhaul of both the rigid and spring frame single cylinder SV, OHV and OHC Norton motorcycles from 1932 to 1947. There is adequate detailed text and diagrams to assist in major refurbishing such as an engine rebuild or even a complete renovation.

Applicable to the following models: SV: 16H & 16I. OHV: 18, 19, 20, 50, 55, and ES2. OHC: CJ, CSI and International models (through 1946) 30 and 40. Includes maintenance and repair data for the following single cylinder engines: SV: 490cc and 633cc. OHV: 350cc, 490cc and 596 cc. OHC: 348cc and 490cc.
