    «Pineapple Street» ist der Debütroman der amerikanischen Autorin Jenny Jackson. In diesem Roman tauchen wir in die Welt der wohlhabenden Familie Stockton, welche in New York lebt. Die Geschichte wird aus drei Sichtweisen erzählt:
    Die älteste Tochter, Darley, steht vor einem inneren Konflikt. Soll sie ihren Ehemann Malcolm drängen, einen Ehevertrag zu unterschreiben? Während sie ihren Job aufgibt, um ihre Kinder zu betreuen, wird ihre finanzielle Sicherheit auf die Probe gestellt, was zu einem tiefen emotionalen Zwiespalt führt.
    Sasha, die Ehefrau von Malcolms Bruder Cord, fühlt sich in der Familienstruktur gefangen. Trotz ihrer Versuche, sich anzupassen, bleibt sie den Erwartungen ihrer Schwiegermutter Tilda und den traditionellen Normen/Werte der Familie gefangen.
