This book is the second in a series, intended to be used after the first book, Healing the Wounds of Trauma: How the Church Can Help. The first book helps people heal from trauma and loss using biblical and mental health principles. This second book, Strength from Weakness, helps people grow through their suffering and become more resilient so they are better prepared to face suffering in the future. It helps them explore more layers of their trauma and pain, and experience deeper layers of healing. This is the Spanish edition.
About the author
HARRIET HILL est titulaire d'un doctorat du Fuller Theological Seminary (Californie, États-Unis), où elle est professeure adjointe. Elle a vécu dans des villages en Côte d'Ivoire, apprenant la langue et la culture, et communiquant la Bible au moyen de la traduction et de la contextualisation. Ce livre a été élaboré dans le cadre d'ateliers auxquels elle a contribué avec des responsables d'église dans toute l'Afrique, en tenant compte de leur expérience personnel sur le terrain. Elle a travaillé pour SIL pendant 34 ans et pour l'American Bible Society pendant 10 ans.
