I identified children as that sociodemographic category on which there would be several anthropological researches. A social collectivity that, like any other, requires a conceptual definition that frames the limits of location or social belonging. However, considering that the category itself is the subject of anthropological discussion, I decided to employ general references and use the word infancia to highlight the diversity of historical subjects referred to. There is a constant review of the conceptual relevance to identify those who can be classified as children.
