With respect to the British Civil Society in Argentina, although there are individual historical compilations by the organizations themselves, there is no testimony that brings together the sum of these histories under a single criterion of analysis. Individual historical compilations are extremely useful but are not enough to form a global picture of the history, evolution and influence of a given subset of organizations. This is because individual histories are generally produced by the organizations themselves, for themselves and for their beneficiaries, partners, donors, etc., focusing on their individual contribution to the common good and their specific relationships with their environment.To understand the true magnitude of the influence of British Civil Society as a whole in Argentina it is necessary, first of all, to carry out a compilation of the organizations that exist or existed in the country. Then, the relationships of the organizations with their founders, beneficiaries and environment should be analyzed in order to understand their particular contributions.
