The main objective of this study is to examine the entrepreneur-family relationship in order to present its impact on MSE financing in the West Cameroon region. Adopting a qualitative multiple case study approach, we conducted semi-structured interviews with 22 owner-managers of MSEs in the cities of Dschang and Bafoussam, selected by the reasoned choice method. The analysis of these managers' speeches using the thematic content analysis method and Nvivo10 software revealed that the regular presence of the entrepreneur at family and community meetings in the region is the basis of the financial support that the family grants to the entrepreneur. Thus, in order to prove his attachment to the family unit, the owner-manager of a MSE must attend all meetings and events organized by the family or the community. This participation conditions the financial support that can be granted to him within the framework of the financing of his company at the appropriate time.
