Furthermore, Eva carries the trauma of a recent past and must deal with her own personal crisis. The kind of complicity that will bring her close to Isabel, the missing boy's mother, will help Eva face her own tragedy and regain faith in herself. Although she will only be at peace if she uncovers the truth behind the case, regardless if it hides a terrible secret threatening to change her life forever.

Intertwining thriller and noir elements, David Olivas' second novel is above all a moving story about the importance of family. It is an ode to motherly love and bravery.

About the author

David Olivas (Albacete, 1996) es fotógrafo y escritor. Ha estudiado Dirección de Fotografía en la Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña (ESCAC) y ha realizado videoclips musicales tanto en España como en Estados Unidos. Ganador del programa de televisión Top Photo, ha trabajado como fotógrafo para El País y también ha acompañado a varios grupos musicales como Dorian, Love of Lesbian o Supersubmarina en sus giras. Entre sus últimos trabajos destaca el formar parte del equipo de fotografía de la mayor producción de Netflix en Europa este año.

Con tan solo veinte años publicó Serendipia, un poemario ilustrado por sus fotografías que llegó a encabezar las listas de los libros más vendidos. Tras La misma brújula (2017) y La luz que siempre te di (2018), David Olivas dio un paso firme con El vuelo de la mariposa, su primera novela para adultos. Su segunda novela en Plaza y Janés, El susurro de ángel, supone su consagración como escritor.
