The efficacy of Brown Algae Sargassum Tenneimum (BAST) treating waste water by uprooting heavy metals like lead, nickel. The extension of the study also carriedout for Eosin Yellow dye with biosorbent material (BAST). Objective of the present study is to check the suitability of BAST powder as a biosorbent to remove methylene blue dye (MBD). To study the effect of various parameters that are: Agitation time, t (min), Biosorbent size, dp (µm), Biosorbent dosage, w (g), Initial concentration of dye, C0(mg/L), pH of dye solution. To study suitability of the biosorption kinetic model is for the removal of methylene blue dye using BAST as biosorbent. Also Pseudo First order kinetics, Pseudo second order kinetic was studied. The experimental parameter results of batch studies are optimized by using Box-Behnken design (response surface methodology).
