About the author

The late Cristiano Castelletti (1971-2017) was a Swiss classical scholar, who published widely on Valerius Flaccus and other Roman poets.

Antony Augoustakis is Professor of Classics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Marco Fucecchi is Associate Professor of Latin Language and Literature at the University of Udine.

Gesine Manuwald is Professor of Latin at University College London.
