Hormigón reforzado con fibra de sisal

El hormigón es fuerte en compresión y débil en tensión. Por lo tanto, hay que reforzar el hormigón. Se utiliza principalmente el acero como refuerzo. Se están llevando a cabo muchas investigaciones para encontrar un sustituto a este material. Muchas investigaciones proponen fibras artificiales. En este proyecto nos gustaría tomar la fibra natural disponible llamada fibra de sisal como material sustituto del refuerzo y estudiar las propiedades.
