This new approach to Fluid Mechanics from the gauge-theoretic viewpoint is based on a new formulation proposed in two original papers -- Fluid Gauge Theory and Gauge Symmetries in Physical Fields.Contrary to the traditional formulation, the equation of mass conservation is deduced from the gauge symmetry of background field, existing inherently within the flow field. Thus, the fluid field is described by a combined system of a fluid-flow field and a background field. The formulation can be applied to study the mechanism of enhanced dissipation theoretically within turbulent flows. In the second part, Fluid Mechanics is considered in the language of curved spacetime, enabling the description of fluid motion in a weak gravitational field. The space-geometry instructs fluid-matter how to move, and the matter directs the geometry how to curve. Thus, the gravitational force is taken within the framework of Fluid Mechanics as an internal field rather than external one. With a common platform in electromagnetism and theory of gravitation in theoretical physics, the material in the book is unique.
