Cuando el equipo de fútbol de John y Jake tiene que jugar un partido contra su archienemigo Noah, Jake no cree que pueda soportar otra paliza. Su equipo no ha ganado ni un solo partido en toda la temporada y la decepción le está pasando factura.
El día del partido las cosas comienzan a ir mal nada más empezar, ya que Noah le quita el balón a John y marca un gol. Y no contento con haber conseguido el gol, aprovecha para humillar también a los hermanos.
No parece que los chicos vayan a conseguir su ansiada victoria después de todo, pero entonces recuerdan la lección que les enseñó su padre: "Pase lo que pase, seamos amables, creamos que podemos, y hagámoslo lo mejor posible".

When John and Jake's soccer team have to play a game against their arch-rival Noah, Jake doesn't think he can take another beating. Their team haven't won a single game all season and the disappointment is taking its toll on him.
On the day of the match things start going wrong right at the start as Noah takes the ball from John and scores a goal. Not content with scoring he takes the opportunity to humiliate the brothers as well.
It doesn't look the boys will get their long-awaited win after all but then they remember the lesson their father taught them - "No matter what, be kind, believe we can, and let¿s do our very best."
Can John and Jake win their first game of the season? How do you think they will react if they do?
First Win is a story of friendship and kindness. It is also a story of learning how to lose and, sometimes more importantly, learning how to win. It provides a perfect example of how kids can make friends even when the odds seem stacked against it.
