Er verfügt über umfangreiche wissenschaftliche Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet der Geologie und der Bergbauexploration. Zusätzlich zu seinem Doktortitel in Sedimentgeochemie hat er zwei Masterabschlüsse (1. Sedimentologie und 2. Fernerkundung und GIS).
