This research project on "Iconographic narratives in the revitalization of the Kichwa language", investigates the need to generate resources and pedagogical strategies for the new generations, especially the indigenous of the Napo province in Ecuador, in their own language and customs to promote the educational use of this language that is in danger of extinction. It was proposed as an objective to recover the own iconographic stories for the revitalization of the Kichwa language, the descriptive methodology was used as well as techniques and instruments such as surveys and observation sheets used in the collection of information provided by the pre-adolescents of the seventh year of the Intercultural Bilingual Educational Unit Intillacta. It was identified, in the results of the graphic representation, the legends and traditions preserved by the students; likewise, it was evidenced that the teachers through their activities allow keeping alive the use of the language of the Amazonian Kichwa culture among the youth and the new generations; with the stories identified later on, a pedagogical tool of revitalization such as the comic book was developed.
