About the author

Gillian Watson is a principal lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Sunderland, UK, responsible for international development and partnerships. She has also undertaken other senior roles in the faculty such as HRM team leader, chair of the PG board and chair of the Applied Management, FdA and HND board. She has led several key initiatives to enhance the learning experience for postgraduate and undergraduate students. Her current role allows her to foster co-operation and share good practice with the faculty's Transnational Education and other partner institutions.Stefanie Reissner is a Professor of Work and Organization Studies at Essex Business School, UK. She conducts research into identity, narrative / storytelling, interpretive work / sensemaking, reflexivity and learning and teaches students on undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Stefanie is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an Associate Academic Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
