In the articles on the example of Chingiz Aitmatov's works, the author reflects on the current at all times socio-moral problems. At the same time, he often connects the disclosure of ideological and artistic features of the analyzed texts with the tasks of moral education of young people. In one of the articles it is noted that the leitmotif of the main works of Ch. Aitmatov succinctly expressed himself in the words he once left to a young man in Tashkent as an autograph: "Imanduuu adam bolgun". Iman means faith, honor and conscience. And this autograph is in Namangan (Uzbekistan). In separate articles some problems of translation of Aitmatov's works have been touched upon. Nosirov Kodirjon, born in 1947, graduated from the faculty of Russian language and literature, candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor of the department of Russian language and literature of Namangan State University (Uzbekistan); literary critic, translator, prose writer, winner of the International Pushkin Prize; author of more than 450 popular science publications.
